Born in Yorkshire and brought up in Teesdale Helen Howard has always had a love of art and found her creative flare at quite a young age.
After leaving school she pursued a career in catering that led to her working in London where she trained as a Patisserie Chef. Here she developed her skills in finer work with cake decorating and sugar craft specialising in producing sugar flowers for many celebratory occasions all over the Uk. Helen later returned home and took a different course in life and started working in a nursery garden where she had chance to work with the flowers she had long been replicating in sugar.
Her love of art and the flora of the natural world are now combined together with help from the medium of clay. Helen loves to test the boundaries of different clays to try and produce the finest of work where possible.
